K12/TEJAS Gallery

K12/TEJAS Gallery for Young People is a vibrant, nonprofit arts organization located in the heart of downtown Dayton. K12/TEJAS Gallery offers classes from kindergarten through 12th grade. These programs include summer art camps, field trips, birthday parties, after school and Saturday classes. K12/TEJAS's 3,000 square foot space gallery and studio space is a vibrant art gallery with glass doors opening up to Third Street. We have two studio areas, one for younger children and one for more advanced student artists. We are grateful to Time Warner Cable for helping us make this possible.

K12/TEJAS Gallery holds 16 exhibits per year and is the only continuous exhibition space for children’s artwork in the state of Ohio. K12/TEJAS's emphasis on displaying completed artwork distinguishes us from most other children's art programs. Here, young people participate fully in selecting, mounting, organizing and hanging art.
